I am delighted to say that I really like how my project ended, I feel delighted about my overall outcome of the product from the many months of planning, taking in peer feedback and altering (such as reviewing the script and making changes, etc.). The video is uploaded to YouTube and it has gotten a big attraction ever since it was posted, likely due to the huge amount of newcomers who want to learn how to become successful so they can follow the right path. According to the video statistics provided by YouTube, the majority of viewers watched the first half of the video, but when looking deeper at the statistics, it seems that potentially only the most passionate few were the ones that watched through the entirety of the video.
Throughout my time in working on this project, I feel that I have developed two IB Learner Profiles, and they are being a Communicator and an Inquirer. In order to even start giving my advice to these newcomers I need to to be an inquirer and put myself in the shoes of these newcomers who I am going to guide through this video, that way, I can make up questions that these newcomers would ask if they were introduced to this topic, this way I can help them in their journey of become successful in the "YouTube Gaming" platform. Being a communicator is the bigger theme of my project here, through the video, I have to communicate issues and obstacles that the newcomers would face when they venture through the world of YouTube video making.
I was also communicating towards supervisor, since I am a new student in this school, there was a lot of things I didn't previously know about from my previous year, but then I would have to communicate my questions or concerns to my supervisor by writing emails to her, this really does help a lot when (for example) I forgot to ask something at school, so I would ask her through email. I was also a communicator because after a criteria of the project was done, I would prepare meetings in Microsoft Teams with my supervisor (if time allowed us, there was a huge issue in how much time I had to complete said task due to other schoolwork coming my way), meetings like this give me the perfect opportunity to hear feedback from my supervisor regarding the mistakes I wrote in said part of the report or for me to simply ask about what the next task is about, and what are the things that I need to do to achieve a high grade.
